POEM 14 : MY FIRST CHRISTMAS IN HEAVEN

We look up to the sky, and see the twinkling stars
Staring with a sigh, we see You from a far
Christmas sure is different, without You by our side
You're spending Christmas with Jesus, our tears, we all must hide

We can only imagine, what Christmas is like up there
With Jesus right beside You, among the angels fair
The choir must be spectacular, the singing beyond compare
What a joyous moment, for all in His Kingdom to share

We miss You very much, more than words can say
Feeling your presence here, we think of You each day
For everywhere we are, there You'll always be
Your face is imprinted in all our hearts, a precious memory

We feel your gift among us all, God's precious gift of love
Telling us we can count on You, to watch us from above
Day after day, You drop a sign, to show us You are near
How blessed are we, that You are now, our guardian angel here

Our hearts are filled with love for You, as we send our Christmas cheer
Knowing You'll have a wonderful time with Jesus Christ this year
We'll wipe away that lonely tear, as we see You beaming in Heaven
Happily celebrating Christmas and an awesome Twenty-Eleven!

POEM 13 : I AM WHO I AM

I am who I am for a reason
God sculpted me to be
He wanted someone very precise
A boy who is like me

I look like I do for a reason
My face, my eyes, my hands
He custom-made my body
Being tall was part of His plan

The parents I have are the ones He chose
He has His reasons for that
I am their bundle of joy, one Christmas Eve
A pride to my Mom and Dad

No, the trauma I faced was not easy
I was put through grueling tests
It pained God too, but He had to do
To mould me to my best

I am who I am for a reason
God intended me to be
Someone to help Him watch over You
An angel just like me

POEM 12 : DEAR SON

Dear Son

The day You obediently answered God’s call

Is truly our saddest day of all

Watching You breathe that one last breath

An imprint in our memory, still very fresh

The question why, will always linger

Could God not grant us more time together

It seems like only yesterday, when You were born

It is hard to believe that You are now gone

Leaving us devastated and groping in the dark

While You chill out with God in His heavenly park

Laughing and playing with His other children

A beautiful sight to picture of Heaven

We got your message, we know You are here

The bond between us, is so very dear

You are constantly watching us, from far and near

We read your little signs, and we find them clear

That every little thing remind us of You

Your electric guitar especially, that is still brand new

We remember You playing it on the amplifier

You soon had to stop, when it somehow got heavier

We miss You more than we know how to express

God is surely putting your family to a difficult test

To send His message of love, He picked the best

For You clearly stand out, You have been blessed

Anointing You with the privilege of the highest kind

God called one day and said, “Daniel, it’s time.”

He waited for You patiently by His ocean shore

With open arms, He proved to us He loves You more

Today, we give thanks with a grateful mind

Though our hearts are shattered, God has been kind

Our souls are connected, but we still have to part

Until we are reunited, You will live in our hearts

Love, Mom

POEM 11: HEAVEN ROCKS

One night I cried to Jesus, as I sat beneath a tree

With a heart so filled with sorrow, I thought in misery

I have reached a dead end, I don’t know where to go

If only God could give a sign; a sign so I would know

I told Him of my burdens, and the sadness in my heart

The faith I have has crumbled, all hope is in the mud

Why did You have to take my son, I asked the Lord again

Never have I ever felt, such devastating pain

I’m angry Lord, I’m missing him, I’m drowning in my sorrow

I’m overwhelmed with grief; It’s hard to see tomorrow

Then I felt a little breeze, blowing softly in my face

Instantly, I felt his eyes, though I could not see his gaze

He said, Mommy, I’m an angel, my spirit now is free

Heaven really rocks, I’m as happy as can be

You should see me now, I can sit, and walk and stand

I am everywhere at one time, it’s hard to comprehend

No one will ever take away, our bond with one another

The link we have is real, our connection is forever

I’m watching you and family, from a cotton cloud above

When the sun shines its rays, I'll be sending you my love

POEM 10 : IT IS GOD'S WILL

It is God's will, as we stood still
You breathe your very last breath
He lovingly carried You in His arms
On the day we laid You to rest

It's been a while, your precious smile
We miss so very much
Now we are left with memories
In all that we see and touch

We feel the mist, the gentle breeze
The sun shines in our face
That will be You, telling us You're near
From now till the end of our days

Moving on, You are never gone
You're right here in our hearts
God will bring us together someday
Never again to part
