When tomorrow starts without You
And You're not here by our side
If the sun should rise and the clouds roll by
Our tears of grief, we'll hide
To carry on and pretend to smile
Sometimes there is no mood
But reflecting on our journey
To us, God has been good
He must have understood
We love You, Oh so much
Yet He went ahead to take You
We yearn for one more touch
As You lay in bed, We watched You sleep
We prayed God's Will be done
We did not know when we prayed that night
That God would take our son
You had so much to live for
And much too young to die
What was God thinking, we cried
As tears streamed down our eyes
It really did not seem possible
That losing You was God's choice
As we struggled with grief and confusion
Be Still, We heard God's voice
You were sent to earth for a purpose
And now it is fulfilled
The chapter ends, the page is turned
We bow down to His Will
What God has given, God has taken back
He left us in devastation
As we pick up the pieces, we slowly rejoice
In His promise of eternal salvation
We will continue to trust God faithfully
Although we have no clue
The question WHY will forever confront us
When tomorrow starts without You
