POEM 9 : SAFELY HOME

You are safely home in Heaven

Filled with wonder of God's greatness

Free at last to live forever

Beneath His radiance of blissfulness

All the pain and grief is over

Headaches are a thing of the past

Tumors can no longer hurt You

Never again, Thank God, at last!

There is work still waiting for us

A purpose we must all fulfill

Telling people about God's love

Living according to His mighty will

When that work is all completed

We shall wait for God to call

What a reunion that will be

Together forever, once and for all

POEM 8 : FOOTBALL IN HEAVEN

After the football match was played

On the day that was so fine

God blew His whistle, the angels clapped

We all had a really great time

Football has always been watching by the side

I have never been able to play

God is good, He knows my heart

When He called my name that day

He needed one more player

So, an angel came to me

She invited me to join Heaven's team

With God as the referee

I was so excited

Is this for real or a dream?

I could not believe when I rose up and walked

To join God's football team

You cannot imagine the field up here

It's greener than the greenest green

Surrounded by the prettiest flowers

That You have ever seen

At first I was quite nervous

I have not played before

But when the ball came to my side

The crowd started to roar

I took a very deep breath

And gave a kick so bold

The ball flew up and out of my sight

I scored my very first goal

The cheerleader-angels danced for joy

I beamed so happily

If only Justine could see me now

She'd surely be cheering for me

POEM 7 : HIS WORD, MY GUARANTEE

I sometimes wonder by myself

As I look up to the sky

Whether You are watching me

From a cotton cloud up high

As I stare, I try to see

For any sign or clue

I wish I could catch a little glimpse

Of what God's doing with You 

First, I see the radiant sun

Shining brightly up above

I wonder if You're telling me

That's how we feel God's love

Then the rain starts to fall

I wonder if it's the Master

Asking You to take a hose

To sprinkle Holy Water

Today, I sit contentedly

I see You soaring free

God tells me, You're right beside Him

His Word, My Guarantee

POEM 6 : MY SON IS HEAVEN'S ANGEL

My Son is Heaven's Angel, he was chosen to be free

I miss him terribly, and wish he were with me

Ever since God called his name, my heart has been in pain

Though I feel him by my side, I will never be the same

Like the footprints on the sand, there were always two

Trails of his and mine, along the ocean blue

The day he answered God, his trail was washed away

Now I walk alone, with him by me each day

On my own I sit by the beach, I talk to him till dawn

By myself I struggle to cope, I try to carry on

If I am a survivor, it's because he has taught me to be

To live a life of purpose, and trust God faithfully

Without me, he has moved on, to a place beyond the rainbow

Without him, I am groping, as only our Father would know

Even though I am assured, that he's happy at God's end

The ache in my heart will linger on, and would never, ever mend.
